THE EUMERALLA MOUCHHi There Let me introduce myself, I'm the Eumeralla Mouch. Many years ago they're where hundreds of Mouch's living happily at Eumeralla and we never lived anywhere else. We ate the local flowers, the Pink Heath and Bush Orchids and we made our homes in the soft, and sandy ground at the side of the roads and pathways, I live near the Homfray Jungle Trail but we could be anywhere at Eumeralla, like our friend the Echidna. And we played up and down the trees and in and out of the shrubs, we lived a wonderful life. Then things began to change, we found it hard trying to find our food, the flowers seemed to have been trampled or pulled up. When we returned home after a long day looking for food, our homes had been stood on and had caved in. Then slowly all my friends started to disappear, it was thought we had become extinct. We are not extinct but we are endangered and we need your help. When your at Eumeralla, you can help us by looking after the local flora, watch where your running so that you don't step on the flowers and please don't pull them up. And when you're walking around Eumeralla please keep to the roads and paths as our homes are very delicate and if you stand on them they are destroyed. Always clean up your litter and please don't break the trees, we need somewhere to play too. Enjoy your stay at Eumeralla and keep an eye out for me, because I'll be watching you. Thank you The Eumeralla Mouch |
