Cook’s Cottage (Somer’s Lodge)

Lately known as Somer’s Lodge (to record the Geelong Scouts influence on the Lord Somers Camp).

The original building was built as a Gate House and later occupied as the home of Mrs Cook, a member of the Hickman family, the then Camp Warden.

The current residence was built in 1984 by ‘Bob’ Moodie as a replacement after the disastrous 1983 Ash Wednesday Fires.
